Day 11, Tuesday October 21, 2014
This morning we are leaving Sorrento and traveling to Naples. Our first stop of the day is a visit to the Museum Capodimonte. Later, we will take a walking tour of Naples with an option to join our guide Ann for a pizza dinner.
The Capodimonte Museum has some of southern Italy's finest Renaissance paintings. The three floors include paintings by Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio and Bellini. Pictures were not allowed in the museum.
Later in the day, we took a walking tour of Naples. Naples is Italy's third largest city with more than one million people. It has virtually no parks or open spaces which makes it Europe's most densely populated city.

Day 12, Wednesday October 22, 2014
Today we have a tour of the Naples Archaeological Museum, then a short visit to Cappella Sansevero. The afternoon is free. Tonight we have our farewell dinner together.
Our first tour of the day was the Naples Archaeological Museum. It has some of the best art and decorations of Pompeii and Herculaneum which were buried in ash by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD.
After the museum tour, we visited the Cappella Sansevero where pictures were not allowed. From there we took the funicular to San Martino which had some great views overlooking Naples. We returned to our hotel but not before stopping for a cup of coffee at the best coffee shop in the world.
Our last event of the tour was the farewell dinner together at a local restaurant near our hotel.

The tour is over. We had a great time and made new friends. We saw many things we only dreamed of seeing and many we didn't know existed. We hope this scrapbook has sparked your interest in traveling to Europe. We know we love it and have booked two more of Rick's tours for 2015. Hopefully we'll see you on our tours! As Rick says - Keep on traveling!
